NORTH PATTAYA.
North Pattaya — the established edge
North Pattaya sits above the central strip but below Naklua. It is the longer-established, more residential edge of the strip — fewer tourist towers, more long-running independent institutions, more open-air dining.
Two of the guide's ranked restaurants anchor North Pattaya: PIC Kitchen (North Pattaya Thai institution since 1985, teakwood salas, cushion seating, the famous 4.9-meter Jazz Tree in the garden, behind Pattaya International Hospital), and the long-running Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa complex with Goji Kitchen Grill & Bar (Friday/Saturday Weekend Buffet, premium seafood and prime meat carvings).
Reach North Pattaya from central Pattaya in 5–8 minutes by car. The North Pattaya Road corridor is walkable between key institutions during cooler hours.

"North Pattaya is the edge that remembers what the city was before the strip got loud. The institutions here run on muscle memory."
