About Pattaya Sai 2 (Second Road): Pattaya Sai Song (Second Road) runs parallel to and one block back from Beach Road — the main commercial boulevard. Most of Central Pattaya's malls, hotels, and chain restaurants front it.
Second Road is shopping-and-eating-at-scale Pattaya. Central Festival mall, Avenue mall, and dozens of mid-range restaurants line it. It lacks Beach Road's view but makes up for it with calmer atmosphere and a wider range of cuisines. Most tourists end up walking it at some point.

Pro tip: Second Road's restaurant quality is most uneven of any major Pattaya road — some excellent independents, lots of mediocre tourist-pricing places. Filter by cuisine and rating before settling. Avoid the very north end (Soi 1-3) for dinner; that area is more residential and the dining is sparse.
