Pattaya group dinner split calculator

April·MMXXVI

Enter your bill, group size, and how generous you feel. We do the math (including Thai service charge and VAT).

How it works: Most Pattaya restaurants charge prices either "net" (all-in, no extras) or with "++" notation, meaning 10% service charge and 7% VAT are added to the listed price. We auto-calculate based on which one you're at.

Look for "++" notation on the menu — usually at the bottom or by the prices.
Service charge is already included in the bill total below — extra tip goes to the staff directly. Round-up tipping is standard in Pattaya.

Reality checks:

  • Most upscale Pattaya restaurants use ++ pricing. Casual Thai sit-downs and street stalls are net.
  • If the menu shows prices like "200" everywhere with no symbols, it's almost always net.
  • If you see "200++" or a footer note like "All prices subject to 10% service charge and 7% VAT", it's ++ pricing.
  • Cards don't always work for tips — bring some 100 baht notes for the tip.
